BSA Pack # 759

About Pack 759 - Plainsboro, NJ

Does your son like to spend time outside exploring his world, building things with his hands, and learning new skills?  Then scouting is for him!

Cub Scouting is a year-round family program for boys in Grades 1 – 5.  It is designed to promote character, citizenship, family ties, pride and teamwork, as well as develop both mental and physical fitness, all in a caring and FUN environment.

Many of the scouts in Pack 759 attend school at Town Center Elementary, Wicoff Elementary, and Millstone River School. Most of the scouts are also involved in many other activities including baseball, hockey, soccer, basketball, and swimming. All of these activities count towards scouting badges and achievements!

The Pack focuses on events for the entire family of the scout, while the Dens have activities geared towards the scout. Scouting is all about fun with a purpose! Some of the events and activities we have for our Scouting Families are:

  • Annual Pinewood Derby (including an open series for Parents & Siblings)
  • Family Camping
  • Family Picnics and Buffets
  • Pack Bike Hike
  • Pack Day Hiking Trip
  • Scout Skills Day with Boy Scout Troop 759
  • Museum Trips & Sleepovers

We run many events and services each year for our community including:

Scouting for Food - In the fall of each year the Pack with Queenship of Mary runs an annual food drive for families in our community. In 2010 we collected food for over 50 families in the Plainsboro area with additional food donated to the Plainsboro Pantry - over 2 tons of food was collected!

Caroling for cans - This past year we teamed up in December with the local Girl Scouts to help collect needed food items for the Plainsboro Pantry. The scouts had a lot of fun and collected over 50 bags of food for the Pantry.

We are always looking for new members to join our Pack, so please reach out to us for more information and to join in the fun.

Just go to the Contact Us form on the left and send us a note with your name, phone number, e-mail, and the grade your son is in.
